There is a short flight of outdoor stairs to get to the front door; the home itself is slightly above street level. - Located in Columbia Heights, about an 8-minute walk from the Columbia Heights Metro station. A short walk west gets you to Mount Pleasant and/or Adams Morgan, and a short walk east gets you to various restaurants and bars on and around 11th street. About me: I'm a recent transplant to the Washington, DC area, and started working for the federal government last September after finishing graduate school. I am the current tenant in this space and am available to show it in person (if you're in DC) or by Facetime otherwise. The landlord lives upstairs and will be available to discuss maintenance requests and other issues. What we're looking for: We are looking for someone clean and responsible who we can trust to take very good care of our furniture and space while we are away.
