This is about 100 year old tenor guitar, technically it is a ‘voisinet’ or maybe that’s the name of the guy who designed it. These are also called a Stromberg Voisinet. Also known as Kay Kraft guitars. It plays and sounds very sweet. Originally probably used to play jazz, but I’ve got it set up in a tuning that reminds me of Bon Iver playing a dulcimer. If you search ‘Kay Kraft Stromberg Voisinet 2 point Venetian tenor 1920s Natural’ you’ll find the reverb of this guitar sold about 5 years ago. There’s also a video of a guy repairing if this one, I thought it was just a coincidence, but turns out to be the same one as evidenced by the letters ‘P.B.” carved in the back.
