Do you love working with kids? Have a passion for coaching youth sports? JumpBunch & Amazing Athletes are looking for part time coaches to join our team immediately! We bring sports, fitness and fun to area preschools, daycares, municipal programs, and private schools. With over 70 different sports and fitness activities, we're looking for people who want to make a difference in the lives of kids. We're not looking to hone the next D1 athlete, we're looking to help kids enjoy sports and fitness by getting an introduction to both mainline sports (basketball, soccer, flag football...) as well as other creative activities that involvement movement. While this is NOT a full time position, it is full time fun! We give you lesson plans, all the equipment, and training to deliver a great experience for our little friends. And we will work around your schedule. Most of our programs run somewhere between 9am and 3pm, but we do have some after school and weekend clients as well. Our most pressing need at this time is for daytime hours working generally in the midtown Indy area (think Meridian Hills over to Binford Blvd. Hours / days will vary but the schedule will be consistent over the course of the winter into spring. Requirements Must have: Positive Attitude! Love working with kids (and some experience too...) Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, jump, jog, and move actively to execute a class Be able to pass a background check Have your own reliable transportation Communication through email / text / phone / Marco Polo app Nice to have: Experience coaching youth sports, or teaching preschool aged kids (we primarily work with ages 2-6, up to age 12) Ability to be flexible and think on your feet (sometimes you show up and the only space available is a hallway!) What You'll Do: This role combines hands-on cafe management with vocational training. ART 311 CERAMICS I: DESIGNING IN CLAY I is an introductory studio course offering a hands-on exploration of working with clay. Students will learn foundational ceramic techniques with a primary focus on hand-building methods such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, and beginning glazing and firing techniques. Through a series of structured projects, students will address both functional and sculptural approaches to form, examining how utility, aesthetics, and personal expression intersect in ceramic design. ART 312 3D DESIGN examines design as a deliberate process starting with identifying formal elements of three-dimensional design (space, perspective, form, scale, volume, mass, texture, and light) and how to effectively utilize design principles to organize them. Material exploration will include wire, clay, cardboard, wood, and found materials. Skills acquired in this course have direct applications to anyone working in art and design to the majority of us who rely on visual communication in our everyday life. A demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and student engagement Experience in both critical/theoretical and technical/studio aspects of ceramics and 3D design Prior teaching experience in higher education is strongly preferred Proficiency in ceramic hand-building and wheel techniques, 3D design principles, material handling (e.g., clay, wire, cardboard, wood), and the use of tools and equipment related to ceramics and sculpture, including basic kiln operation and safety procedures. The After Care Program Coordinator oversees all aspects of the after-school program for students in Early Childhood through 8th grade, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment aligned with the mission of SHA. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to create meaningful afterschool programming. Hours are 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Thursday; Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Supervision Plan, organize, and oversee daily after care activities, ensuring they are age-appropriate, inclusive, and engaging for EC–8 students. Supervise, train, and support after care staff and vendors, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Maintain appropriate staff-to-student ratios at all times. Coordinate enrichment programs, including partnerships with outside vendors (e.g., art, sports, drama, STEM). Coordinating with Principal and EC Director dates, activities, with already established afterschool programs such as sports and afterschool Judaic Studies Learning (Mishmar and Mishna classes). Student Care & Engagement Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students. Promote positive behavior management aligned with school values and policies. Support homework time for older students, offering guidance and assistance as needed. Provide opportunities for free play, structured activities, and social interaction. Operational Management Create and manage the after care schedule, including daily routines and special events. Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure proper check-in/check-out procedures, and payments. Communicate effectively with families regarding schedules, behavior concerns, and program updates. Collaborate with school leadership on budget, staffing needs, and program improvements. Monitor and maintain after care supplies, snacks, and materials. Community & Culture Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff to strengthen the sense of community. Serve as a role model for respectful, inclusive, and ethical behavior. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with children in a school or enrichment setting, with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of child development and best practices for engaging EC–8 students. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Commitment to the mission and values of a Jewish day school; familiarity with Jewish traditions and holidays a plus. First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date). Physical Requirements Ability to supervise children both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
