Requirements WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A TRANSPORTATION AND CLASSROOM ASSISTANT Not at all of your work will be classroom glam, but for our teachers and families you will shine as you help: Get children ready to start their day Safely transport children to and from other locations Teachers with classroom clean up Find that missing (toy, hair pony, shoe, etc) YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU ARE: Dependable - our children become attached, they worry when those they care about no-show. Supportive - our teachers and families rely upon you. Your work supports their ability to visit and share about the children. Have a Positive Energy - it cannot be said enough how important positivity is to our teachers, children, and families --- especially at the end of the day! YOU POSSESS THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS: 18 years+ must pass a background check Available transportation A valid driver's license Able to work between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (M-F) Prior work experience You will be truly appreciated by teachers, families, and especially the children. Please note, for working with children and families: Tattoos must be covered (your art may not be for everyone and we don't want to judge) Hazards: Piercings and press-on nails or other jewelry is a choking hazards should it fall to the ground. Piercings are also easily caught (or tugged on by children), and long nails can scratch. Please leave jewelry at home, and nails on the shorter length. Light to no makeup, as well as perfume, to avoid allergic reactions in some children.
