Estimator (Desert Aire/Mattawa, WA) $32.00 to 35.00 per hour. Monday – Friday On-Site This position is responsible for cost calculations to determine how much it will cost complete a project or provide products and services for the manufacture of doors, cabinets and millwork. ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES -Read and interpret architectural blueprints for information pertaining to cabinet layout and design. -Scale drawings and prepare material take-offs for accurate bidding and pricing. -Assist with creation of technical reports, subcontracts, purchase orders, project updates, and proposals. -Help to identify and resolve deviations from proposals, including scope and specifications. -Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to ensure all costs are captured. -Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done -Maintain consistent and dependable attendance, recognizing that this role requires exceptional dedication to demanding hours and the flexibility to accommodate dynamic schedules. -Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyer. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION -High School Diploma or GED. -Associate Degree in Technical discipline -Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. SKILLS AND ABILITIES -Demonstrated ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications. -Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Bluebeam, AutoCAD, CRM software experience is a bonus. -Knowledge of the commercial construction industry. -Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts. -Technical knowledge of construction of doors and cabinetry is highly desirable. -Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment. -Task and detail oriented with strong organizational skills. -Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. -Honesty and Integrity. -Collaborates and influences appropriately. -Knowledge of cabinet making helpful but not mandatory. -Knowledge of woodworking materials. -Ability to meet deadlines and milestones. -Good written and professional verbal communication skills. -Honesty and integrity, -Able to exercise good judgment. -Regular attendance. -A sense of urgency and a passion for customer and company satisfaction -Ability to understand read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. This position is responsible for coordination of all engineering and field activities related to assigned projects. These projects include new construction and renovations. Provide leadership support for assigned projects to the Albireo Energy project team, subcontractors, contractors, and customers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as well as positive financial results.
