This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and optimize data systems that support mission-critical operations in a federal healthcare environment. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues, identifying opportunities for system improvements. Document data architecture, data flows, and technical specifications. Stay current with emerging technologies, cloud platforms, and best practices in data engineering. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field. 3-10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, database development, or similar technical roles. Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Proficiency in data pipeline development using SQL, Python, Spark, or ETL platforms. Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure) and data warehousing solutions. Knowledge of data modeling, integration, and API development. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards in healthcare or regulated environments. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
