Small downtown Seattle immigration law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for immediate start date. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to fill a soon-to-be-vacated position who is interested in a long-term position with room for substantial growth. This is a hybrid remote/in-person position. A significant amount of remote work is permissible (after initial training period), but there will also be required in-office days while cases are being prepared. All candidates must be local to be considered for the position. Duties and responsibilities, include, but are not necessarily limited to: • Checking phone messages and email daily • Drafting case forms and compiling petitions • Drafting legal briefs and memos • Conducting legal research • Strategizing and advising clients accordingly (subject to Senior Attorney guidance and approval) • Facilitating and reviewing work of paralegals for the signature of Senior Attorney Good communication skills and attention to detail are necessary to be successful in this position. Must be a team player who enjoys working in an intimate and casual, but busy office environment, while also being able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to successfully prepare immigration petitions, as well as, in due course after extensive training, be able to conduct consultations and be a forward-facing representative of the firm. Required technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and a basic understanding of office technology and software in general. A working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and INSZoom, as well as basic familiarity with CRMs are preferred, but not required. This position requires a minimum of six months of immigration law experience. Those without this experience will not be considered for this position and should not apply.
