What You'll Do: ● Drive a variety of CDL vehicles as needed to assist with job specific tasks, including, but not limited to: ○ Solo dump trucks ○ Water Trucks ○ Super dump trucks (upon authorization from company leadership) ○ Tack truck (upon authorization from company leadership) ○ Truck & trailer combo (upon authorization from company leadership) ● Sweat, laugh, work & smile alongside your teammates, on a daily basis, to successfully complete a variety of scopes of work, including, but not limited to asphalt, asphalt maintenance, prep/finish grading, & milling ● Utilize a variety of hand & power tools on a daily basis (brooms, shovels, rakes, lutes, wheelbarrows, saws, torches, plate compactors, etc.) ● Operate company vehicles and heavy equipment once trained and authorized by company leadership ● Assist with loading, unloading, restocking, cleaning & fueling of work trucks/trailers/equipment on a daily basis ● Be responsible for accurately tracking your own time (daily) ● Successfully submit company forms, as needed, including, but not limited to fuel log, maintenance requests, incident reports, low inventory requests. ● Represent the company in a respectful and professional manner at all times. What We're Looking For (CDL Specific) ● WA State, Class A, CDL with air brake endorsement and up-to-date medical card ● History of a safe driving record ● Minimum, one (1) year driving CDL truck ● Ability to navigate to job sites and material sources in a timely manner ● Willingness to keep truck clean and fueled daily ● Capable of completing daily inspections and DVIRs ● Additional experience: Not required, but definitely encouraged: ○ Supers/drop axles ○ Combination hauling ○ Split shift transmissions ○ Loading & unloading equipment ○ Backing & dumping into asphalt paver ○ Asphalt plant logistics ○ Additional endorsements (i.e. hazmat, tankers, etc.) What We're Looking For (General Team Member) ● 18+ years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. ● Physically fit and capable of working outside in all weather conditions. ● Capable of traveling within WA State, and staying out of town, as needed during the season. ● Not scared of working long hours (days or nights), if required. ● Working cell phone and proficient in English. ● Strong emphasis on safety, attention to detail & doing the right thing. ● Ability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. ● Willingness to put the needs of the team above their own and do any task (driving, operating or labor) necessary to ensure the job gets done. ● Consistently show up on time, prepared, energetic and willing to give 100% until the job gets done. ● Maintain eagerness to learn from anyone, any time, and be willing to ask questions for what you do not know. ● Ability to hold yourself, and your teammates, accountable on a daily basis ● Never stop supporting and encouraging your teammates because their success is your success ● Additional items: Not required, but definitely encouraged. ○ Prior experience in paving, asphalt maintenance or finish grading ○ Ability to operate equipment (paver, screed, roller, skid steer, backhoe, grader, excavator, mill etc.) ○ Familiar with reading and understanding grade ○ Ability to travel interstate (ID & OR) if necessary. What We Offer: ● Competitive private wage: $20-30/hour, depending on experience, with anticipated averages of 45-55 hrs per week during season.
