Cultural Resource Manager
Works as the primary and official point of contact in all matters relating to cultural resources. Protects and preserves the Tribe’s cultural heritage. Represents the Tribe when dealing with other agencies on cultural resource issues including consultation responses. Oversees tribal cultural resource initiatives, serving as THPO and ensuring compliance with NAGPRA to protect ancestral heritage and sacred sites. Duties May Include: Advise Logistics Lead planner in developing Higher Command (HICOM) and Exercise Support (EXSUP) manning requirements for all Northern Strike rotations Coordinate external support from Michigan Army National Guard, military agencies and units not associated with Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center (CGJMTC) or Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (ACRTC), and DoD and nongovernment agencies as required Track unit status in the installation support process via Logistics Status Tracker spreadsheet and conduct battle rhythm working group meetings to advise units on progress, due outs, and address issues/concerns Conduct quality control checks (QCC) on submitted documents prior to filing/organizing/tracking and facilitate requisition processes with end users including CGJMTC, ACRTC, MIARNG, and MIANG Track overall unit participation to create support relationship matrix and facilitate cross echelon support to round out Echelon's Above Brigade (EAB) structure for real world and scenario tactical sustainment operations Draft Operation Order Annex F (Sustainment) with full complement of appendices and Tabs for exercise scenario Division OPORD no later than 190 days prior to execution Prepare and deliver weekly progress reports of participating unit requirements and status for Logistics Planning Lead and 631st Troop Command Operations Control Group leadership Maintain Northern Strike Logistics Standard Operating Procedure (LOGSOP) for continual improvement of internal logistics planning processes and integration with installation processes/procedures Act as Administrative Logistics Operations Center (ALOC) or HICOM J4 assistant during exercise execution phases Conduct battle tracking for participating units including installation supply activity levels for material support, status of requests for assistance/information, and location and status of critical logistics equipment/activities Attend overlapping Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) meetings to provide subject matter expertise and develop products needed for rotational training units attending future Northern Strike rotations Provide support in the JRSOI and logistical needs of units deploying to Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center and Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center Requirements Required Qualifications: SECRET security clearance from Defense Industry Security Clearance Office Facility must possess or be eligible to receive and maintain SECRET facility clearance from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DSCA) Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Military Science, or related field Minimum 7 years of experience in military logistics operations, sustainment planning, and exercise coordination Experience with Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) processes and large-scale military exercise planning and execution Knowledge of Army doctrine and operations order formats, particularly sustainment planning and Annex F development Experience developing Operation Orders (OPORDs) and supporting annexes for military exercises Understanding of Echelon Above Brigade (EAB) sustainment operations and logistics planning Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, logistics tracking systems, and military planning software Strong written and verbal communication skills for report preparation, briefings, and multi-agency coordination Ability to work effectively in high-tempo, time-sensitive operational environments during exercise execution Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Military Studies, Logistics, Strategic Studies, or related discipline Military experience as logistics officer or operations planner at brigade level or higher Previous experience with Northern Strike or similar Joint National Training Capability exercises Knowledge of Camp Grayling and Alpena training facilities and installation support processes Certification in military planning processes, project management (PMP), or logistics management Experience with Michigan Army National Guard operations and organizational structures Knowledge of joint and combined arms operations planning and multi-component exercise coordination Familiarity with DoD logistics systems, supply chain management, and military communications systems Benefits At Trinity Global Consulting (TGC), we value our employees and provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage – Full coverage for employees and family through CareFirst and VSP.
