The Media/Marketing Intern will assist with content creation, branding, and digital engagement projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, design, and building brand presence, especially in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Requirements Support the creation of social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) Assist with video editing, graphic design, and photo selection for digital campaigns Help manage the content calendar and brainstorm creative campaign ideas Capture behind-the-scenes content of company operations and events Attend local events where Valley Services' products (such as restrooms or roll-off bins) are being used to take photos and gather content Contribute to marketing material design, including flyers, presentations, and signage Analyze engagement metrics and provide insights for future campaigns Work closely with our Marketing and HR teams to align messaging across platforms Work some weekends as needed when company events are scheduled Travel locally to events and job sites as needed; reliable transportation is required. Mileage reimbursement may be provided for work-related travel. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills Experience with social media platforms and knowledge of content trends Comfortable using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut Must be familiar with basic photo and video equipment (DSLRs, gimbals, tripods, mics, etc.). All necessary equipment will be provided.
