The Campus Ambassador Program provides for interns to be hired by EOHI and its subsidiaries and work at the different office locations during the summer. Through hands-on experience and meaningful projects, interns see what it’s like to work for our employee-owned company and present their final projects to top leadership. Supreme Integrated Technology's program allows interns to follow an engineering track depending on their desired career paths. Specific Responsibilities Assist Engineering with drawings. Assist Sales Department with calculations, sizing and specifications. Prepare Shop Manufacturing drawings. Prepare layouts and various drawings of parts and assemblies using conventional and limited CAD techniques and a working knowledge of the terms and procedures requiring the use of mathematical formulas to compute weights, dimensions, quantities of materials, etc. Assist with final sketches checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relationships of one part to another, and relationship of various parts to whole structure or project. Work from sketches, customer drawings, actual visual review, and verbal information supplied by an engineer or designer and determine the appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete assignments. Assist with charts and graphs including flow charts, uv-graphs, tables, technical illustrations, and paste up work to depict parts for clarity and dimensional purposes. Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Design products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software. Evaluate tooling and recommend design modifications to eliminate production downtime. Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program, Mechanical Engineering preferred. Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher. Prefer junior or senior but will consider other class levels. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to work independently and eager to take on responsibilities. Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS design a plus. Hands-on mechanical aptitude a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills. Excellent communication skills (including oral, written, and relationship building). Position: Rep Payee Specialist Location: Long Island & NYC Based Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/yr. Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Management: • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate participants’ financial situations and to assist them in developing personalized budget plans. • Provides Representative Payee services for participants who would benefit from services that will help to ensure that their financial needs are met and their funds are used appropriately. • Receives and manages participants' Social Security (or other government benefit payments), budgeting funds for essential needs such as housing, food, healthcare, and utilities. • Maintains accurate and detailed financial records for each participant, including income, expenses, and transactions. • Review and analyze financial documentation looking to ensure the representative payee accounts for all SSA (Social Security Administration) funds received and spent appropriately. • Ensures that the representative payee conserves any unspent funds in an appropriate manner. Compliance and Reporting: • Maintain accurate and confidential records, services provided and participants’ progress. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to representative payee services. • Maintain the security and safety of personal identifying information (PII) of all individuals involved in representative payee reviews. • Maintain communication with program staff to exchange information, provide technical assistance/consultation, and resolve problems. Education and Training: • Advocate for participant’s best interest, ensuring they receive the necessary services and support to improve their overall well-being. • Educate participants about their rights, available resources, and options for improving their circumstances. • Educate participants about monetary management, budgeting, and available community resources to promote financial literacy and independence. • Provide training and support to staff as well as tenants on financial literacy (including ensuring tenants are not over income, managing bank accounts/special needs trusts, etc.) • Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings. Requirements: Previous experience in advocacy, social services, or a related field within a nonprofit organization. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural competency to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to advocate persuasively and diplomatically. Knowledge of community resources, social services, and government assistance programs. Strong understanding of government benefits programs and regulations related to representative payee services. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate financial records. Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with vulnerable populations. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality. Strong and effective writing, verbal, and negotiating communications skills regarding complex issues to a variety of people. The Project Manager Intern position is intended for students working towards a technical or business degree to spend the summer rotating through different projects and assisting with communication with customers, vendors, shop and engineering personnel. As an intern, you will be part of the Campus Ambassador Program which provides an opportunity to network with interns from our sister companies, visit other facilities and present projects you’ve worked on over the summer to top leadership.
