Hi all! Up for sale is my 1998 Ford Mustang. A little sad to let her go! This was my first car and have loved owning it. It holds a clean title, and the mileage is somewhere below 70,000 original miles. I bought it from an older gent who claimed his wife didn't fit in it, LOL. I bought it with around 40,000 miles and have put ~30,000 miles over my five years of ownership. The good: - Extremely low miles! - Clean title! - Runs strong--just drove it up to the Bay Area from San Diego with no problems. - Interior is in impressive shape, though it could probably use some detailing. LOL - AC runs strong! The bad: - The gear that turns the odometer broke around August-September 2024, when it had 66,000 miles on the car. I have the paper trail of the mileage increasing after each oil change until then. I googled it and it's a super cheap part, but you have to unscrew stuff and I'm not super handy, so I never tried. I think the part is 15 bucks, and there's a YouTube tutorial that is pretty short and to the point, though I'm sure the YouTuber had more experience than you and I, so I'd budget a bit of time to get it replaced. Haha. - Also, the elephant in the room, the damage to the front left bumper of the car. I got into an accident in June 2024 that was super minor, but I didn't repair any of the cosmetic stuff since it didn't bother me. The car did get a new rack and pinion and has been fine since. Feel free to reach out! This car is pretty special for how old it is with so little miles. Thanks for reading!
