Posting for a friend. It's located just south of Fort Flagler and just north of Nordland, Wash. This venerable 300D W123 w/OM617 3.0l diesel (77 HP!) was driven to where you see it, over a decade ago. I am told that the PS box is bad (visually inspected: bad teeth inside) and that my friend was unable to locate a replacement for a reasonable price. The only visible body damage is the bent hood (RF, as shown) and the grille, but there could be other minor damage under all that vegetation! We cut it out of the blackberries and other than opening the driver's door we haven't looked at anything else (haven't opened the trunk nor hood) but again it was driven here. Last registered in 2013, according to the plate's tabs. I recall hearing this run back when it was being driven, and it ran well then. No sunroof (no sunroof to leak!). Usually I see these with bent/missing bumpers or no taillight assys, but this looks pretty complete. The front seats do not appear to be original in condition nor style. The title may or may not be found -- he is looking for it -- but a Lost Title form may be filed, as it is in my friend's name AFAIK. Bring a trailer or tow dolly: you are NOT driving this away. UHaul etc. rents car trailers. I'm pretty sure that it is too wide for my small tow dolly (shown). The only way to contact him is via phone. PM me for his number. [later: fun fact: the '75-76 300D were W115 chassis vehicles; this '77 is the first year of the W123 chassis with the 300D badging.]
