What you’ll be doing: •This position is responsible for providing appropriate technological imaging service within the discipline parameters of magnetic resonance.  •The person in this position would be required to work unsupervised while maintaining timely and efficient service in an outpatient clinical setting.   •This position works closely the Diagnostic Imaging team and other departments in order to provide complete patient care. •Works in conjunction with physician to provide MRI and MRA examinations to assure appropriate and effective care to elicit meaningful diagnostic information. •Clinical and Technical:   -Know and understand Hospital, Departmental, and examination protocols.   -Working knowledge of equipment, how to "trouble shoot" equipment, and when repairs are necessary.   -Know how to do QA on films and on equipment.   -Know how to schedule examinations. Review daily scheduled exams for corrections/additions/cancellations.   -Make sure exams are completed to include Teleradiology of films.   -Reviewing and updating departmental policies and procedures.   -Informing staff of new or changed policies and procedures.   -Maintaining staff and physician call schedules.   -Proficient in contrast injections.   -Infection control principles.   -Problem solving skills.   -Safety / patient screening as appropriate.   -Contrast dosage and administration as appropriate.   -System applications are utilized appropriately.   -MRI and MRA studies are performed appropriately. -Responds to patient needs and maintains patient confidentiality. Apply today!   Requirements What they’re looking for: •Washington State Radiologic Technologists Certification. •Registered – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), and/or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred. •Minimum of two (2) years of Radiology clinical experience in a hospital setting. •Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire. Hours and compensation potential: •Position is full time. Tuesday-Friday 10:30am-9pm. •Range is between $47hr-$64hr depending on experience.  •Full benefits package including sign on(up to 15K) and relocation assistance(5K).

Cleaners Needed from 8PM to 12:30 AM Sunday night to Friday night for a total of 27 hours per week. Cleaners will be responsible for trash removal, moping, dusting, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, etc. It is recommended that you have commercial cleaning experience but not required. Please respond with your past commercial cleaning experience if you have any. This will help you if you send a description of experience. PAY INCREASES TO $20.05 JANUARY 1ST. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for obtaining high quality images as requested from medical professionals for use in the development of patient treatment plans, in a manner that places emphasis on quality patient care. You can expect to regularly: Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographic images of patients’ specific body parts as requested by medical professionals, including using C-arm and fluoroscopy imaging; Adjust equipment and determine proper voltage, current, desired exposure time and distance for optimal images; Screen patients for radiologic imaging safety, explain the process and address patient concerns prior to performing scanning; Position patients for images using immobilization and protective equipment, including immobilizing patient, removing braces, splints or bandages and positioning lead shields, to comply with government regulations and ensure patient and staff safety; Evaluate images for technical quality; Document imaging performed, appropriate charges and other necessary information in patients’ electronic medical records and Patient Archive Communication System (PACS); Maintain quality control measures in accordance with American College of Radiology guidelines; Follow quality assurance guidelines including positioning, markers, demographics, and coning to ensure optimal images before releasing image to physician; Prepare radiology department daily including cleaning, stocking, and sanitizing work areas and equipment; Provide customer service and patient care, maintain confidentiality, and abide by HIPAA requirements; Remain calm in high-stress environments; Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to minimize impacts to clinic staffing schedules. Requirements Certifications/Education High School Diploma or GED; Radiologic Technologist Certification through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT); Current Nevada State Radiologic Technologist license; Knowledge of: Radiology safety procedures and protocols; HIPAA and OSHA regulations/procedures; Experience: Using computer systems and applications; Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and other medical staff. Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants? One or more years of experience working as a radiologic technologist; Experience using radiology software. This position operates in a clinical environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, biohazards, toxic substances, and similar conditions are possible. Physical: This position is required to frequently stand and walk to obtain images. The noise level is usually moderate. About the Role & Responsibilities Daily oversight and management of all MRI department Clinical, Technical and administrative tasks. Adheres to established Atria MRI Protocols and imaging techniques &  standards of care.  Prepares and positions patients correctly for specific examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol including proper documentation on images and required body part questionnaires Assumes responsibilities for all MRI department technical work, reviewing exams for quality, completeness, Exam ordered,  checking previous reports/ Dicom File uploads, documents information from and communicates with Reading institutions for routine and Stat reads. Reviews Images for quality and informs referring physicians of Critical findings. Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies. Current standards are 24 ECE credits over a two-year period depending on year of birth. BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed with 90 days of hire. IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-months’ orientation. MRI safety certification level 2 required yearly.
