The ideal candidate has experience in Landlord-Tenant law and has an interest in a client-focused practice that helps to serve the local and broader community. Key Responsibilities: * Draft and serve notices to and on behalf of tenants in compliance with Washington State and local landlord-tenant laws. * Represent landlords and tenants in unlawful detainer and housing-related proceedings, primarily in Snohomish and King County courts. * Prepare pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. * Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical legal analysis. * Assist clients on real estate transactions, business formation, contract issues, and employment matters as needed. * Use legal technology and case management tools effectively. * Embrace and leverage AI in day-to-day legal practice effectively. * Work independently and manage a varied caseload while collaborating with your supervising attorneys, support staff, and fellow associates. Qualifications: * Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. * Licensed to practice law in Washington State. * 1–3 years of legal experience, with demonstrated experience in landlord-tenant law. * Practical experience drafting legal notices, preparing court filings, and attending hearings related to evictions or tenant disputes. * Familiarity with real estate transactions, business formation, employment law, or contracts is a plus. * Strong desire to assist clients facing financial hardship through creative methods of representation.
