JOB SUMMARY TowerMRL, Inc. has an immediate need for Vegetation/Inspection Technicians in the midwest. These are permanent positions with company benefits. Schedule is 10 days on (all on the road and away from home) and 4 days off (back at home) Primary responsibilities of these positions include: • Pesticide application • Maintenance of tower sites (i.e. cutting grass/weeds; pick-up trash • Documentation of work completed at each tower site • Taking/uploading photos and documentation to company website using provided computer • Quarterly lighting inspections PREFFERED SKILLS (will train as needed) • Basic computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Data entry) • Effective problem solving skills • Ability to work independently • Basic understanding of power equipment (trimmer, rechargeable hand tools, small engines) REQUIRED • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Minimum Travel 10 days per trip Once hired a technician will be trained and allowed to work in OH or NY where a license to apply herbicides isn’t required. TowerMRL will work with you to get an applicator license in your home state at the company’s expense. Compensation Average $1,000+ per week (working 60 hrs) broken down as follows $17.50 to $18.00 per hour up to 40 hrs and time and a half over 40 hrs Per Diem is set at $47.50 per day and hotel room is paid for by the company. Bonus paid out at end of year. We expect excellence from our employees. This means we offer a drug-free and safe working environment.
