We’re currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities would include: • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of small engines and construction equipment. • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including fleet service tasks. • Accurately document all repairs and services using provided forms and checklists. • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet maintenance schedules and operational needs. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. • Troubleshoot and repair trailer components, including brake systems and electrical wiring. • Drive company trucks with trailers as needed (must hold a valid driver’s license). • Maintain an organized inventory system for tracking equipment, trucks, and trailers—including check-in and check-out logs. • Perform full system checks on equipment, trucks, and trailers upon return to the yard. • Assist the Fleet Manager, lead mechanic, and yard staff as needed. • Pick up and deliver parts or materials to job sites throughout the Portland Metro area using a company vehicle. • Operate a forklift safely and in accordance with company procedures. Preferred but not required: • Welding abilities • DOT inspection certified • Fork Lift certified Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in small engine repair or completion of relevant technical training. • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
