Job Title: Experienced Fiber Optic Termination and Test Technician Fiber Optic Technician with experience in Fiber Optic Cable termination and testing. About the Role: Fiber Optic Termination and Test Technician, the responsibility will be terminating and testing 4-strand, LC/LC, single-mode, indoor-rated fiber optic cables. Expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and high performance of internal network connections, according to client specs. Key Responsibilities Accurate Termination: Precisely terminate 4-strand, LC/LC, single-mode, indoor-rated fiber cables following industry best practices and standards. Comprehensive Testing: Conduct testing of terminated fiber optic cables using specialized equipment like OTDRs, power meters, and/or light sources to verify signal integrity and identify any potential issues. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems Business Security Alarm Systems, Telephone Systems, Cloud Hosted Telephone Systems, Video Surveillance, Door Access Systems, Structured Voice & Data Cabling, Fiber Optics, Audio, Paging & Music Systems, Data Networking & Wireless Systems including security cameras (CCTV), Access control, intercoms, and data cabling in Specilizing in Commercial settings.
