Job Title: Experienced Fiber Optic Termination and Test Technician Fiber Optic Technician with experience in Fiber Optic Cable termination and testing. About the Role: Fiber Optic Termination and Test Technician, the responsibility will be terminating and testing 4-strand, LC/LC, single-mode, indoor-rated fiber optic cables. Expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and high performance of internal network connections, according to client specs. Key Responsibilities Accurate Termination: Precisely terminate 4-strand, LC/LC, single-mode, indoor-rated fiber cables following industry best practices and standards. Comprehensive Testing: Conduct testing of terminated fiber optic cables using specialized equipment like OTDRs, power meters, and/or light sources to verify signal integrity and identify any potential issues. Project Time-Frame - Immediate

I'm hiring 1 reliable, growth-minded tech apprentice or installer IMMEDIATELY to assist on structured cabling and network upgrade jobs throughout the PNW. Two large jobs are scheduled for July 6–20 in Seattle and Tukwila, and I need someone ready to hit the ground running. 8-12 hour days 6 days per week on this project, one day off between. REQUIREMENTS: * 5 yrs. experience with MasterCam programming software (2020 or above) * Experience with HEM (High Efficiency Machining) helpful * Experience with SolidCam helpful * Experience as a CNC mill machinist * Experience programming ferrous, non-ferrous metal and plastics * Skills to plan and program complicated parts according to blueprint * Strong knowledge of tolerance, blueprint reading and GD&T * Ability to work independently with little supervision * Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with others * Must have excellent work ethic and attendance * Attention to detail JOB DUTIES: * Program parts to be run on various Mori Seiki, DMG Mori and Doosan CNC Vertical, Horizontal, Horizontal, 5-Axis mills and Cells according to customer specifications. * Daily programming using MasterCam 2025 * Review blueprint and establishes a sequence of operations to produce product * Update programs with needed changes * Establish correct tools to use on each machine to manufacture the product * Design fixtures for CNC Mill runs * Produce set up sheet for operators * Determine size and availability of materials * Request materials for production through Purchasing * Daily communications with CAD Dept, operators and management to develop product as necessary * Review new jobs and determine priority * Review returned product and update documentation as necessary * Other duties as assigned We offer a full benefit package to employees working full-time at 30+ hrs. per week.  This includes 100% employer paid medical, dental and life insurance.
