Getting this listing back out there as a "very serious" prospective buyer hasn't come through after more than a month of commitment and then just waiting. Not looking for trades, as I really need the space. To answer a few questions I've received: At the end of the day, this is a 19-year old used car that has been driven, so please don't expect a show-worthy, concours vehicle with zero flaws and a service log a mile long detailing every time the car was sneezed in. However, this is a very clean example of an incredible and rare vehicle of its time. Clear title, in my name. No accident or salvage history. Clean CarFax, but feel free to get your own if it makes you more comfortable. I have not replaced the coolant pipes on the top of the engine. So, either the previous owner did (he had to car up to 107k miles) or they haven't been an issue for this particular example. Please read my quite thorough listing prior to sending questions. I'm happy to answer any question, but I've had quite a few that would have been answered had the individual just read (and possibly re-read) the info below. And with that . . . on to the post I've decided to sell my 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo-S. The family is growing, so the car needs to grow, too! I've had it since 2019 and am only the second owner. It's been an amazing car for me in the 6 years that I've had it. Some of the automotive magazines have tagged it as a Future Classic. The original owner traded it back to the dealership where he purchased it, Porsche of North Houston. 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo-S 153,350 miles Exterior: Basalt black metallic paint Interior: Havanna beige leather with brushed aluminum accents, full alcantara headliner (in excellent condition). Even the grab handles and dashboard are leather. The brushed aluminum accelerator and brake pedals still have the factory-original protective film on them - you can be the first to peel it off if you want. 4.5L V8, twin turbo - making 520hp and 530ft/lbs of torque 6-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission 4wd/awd with selectable low-range gearbox and automatic center locking differential 6-piston red brake calipers up front with 15" diameter x 1.5" thick rotors 4-piston red brake calipers in the rear with 14.1" x 1.1" thick rotors 9" X 20" OEM wheels up front 10" X 20" OEM wheels in the rear User-adjustable air suspension gives you 8" of height adjustability - from Parking level through Special Terrain height. The system works flawlessly with its on-board air compressor system. Bose audio system with factory subwoofer - AM/FM/Satellite radio, CD player, navigation (older tech, but there and functional) - a caveat that the stereo sometimes cuts out in colder temps, so I'd ballpark it as functional approximately 60% of the time. It's mostly just a nuisance when this occurs. Porsche actually makes a new-production version of this exact head unit with modern updates, if you're so inclined to swap it out. Also, xtrons makes a popular aftermarket unit and Cayenne-specific bezel if you wanted to go the aftermarket direction and still have a clean installation - plus, it allows you to add a backup camera. Multi-zone climate control including separate rear passenger controls Front and rear seats are all heated with infinite temp control - not just a few set switch positions Porsche crest embossed front headrests User-selectable air-conditioned glove box (OEM feature - not kidding) Front and rear fog lights Interesting facts and details: The Turbo-S model of the first-generation Cayenne (955, 2003-2006) was only available in the 2006 model year - and only for a portion of that year, making it extremely limited-production Porsche set production at 1,500 cars worldwide, with only 600 sent to the US market The 2006 Turbo-S Cayenne was the most powerful mass-production Porsche ever made at that point in time. Only the Carrera GT supercar, produced only from 2003-2006, made more power with its bespoke V10, 605hp engine (approx. $450k in 2006, now ranging from $1.2 - 3.5 million) 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 167 mph Recent maintenance / work completed: Oil change, Mobil 1 full synthetic - May 2025 @ 153,350 mi. Rear hatch and hatch glass struts replaced (each has its own pair since they can open separately) - May 2025 New tires (Pirelli P-Zero in OEM size: 275/40-20) - April 2025 New TPMS sensors at all 4 wheels - April 2025 New front brake pads (OEM Pagid pads) - March 2025 Schrader valves replaced on AC high and low-pressure AC lines, system vacuumed and charged - March 2025 New battery - February 2025 New windshield wipers front & rear - February 2025 There is a burgeoning offroad Cayenne scene, in case that interests you - check it out via social media or Google for ideas.
