EDUCATION The store manager must combine formal education (in areas such as administration or sales), experience in the field, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to business needs. • Academic Background: This may include a background in business administration, finance, marketing, operations, and leadership. • Training in commerce or sales. • Technical courses or retail training in inventory control, customer service, personnel management, and sales optimization. Retail Experience: Previous work in sales or a similar management position within a supermarket is a significant advantage, as it provides a firsthand understanding of the day-to-day business.
