Old timey hardware store in rural farming community seeking DIY-er type individual, ideally with prior hardware or construction experience, to serve our local customer base. Located about 1 hr from Wenatchee and 25 min from Chelan. Looking for someone energetic about bringing forth creative ideas and experience to help increase sales, customer satisfaction, and store success. Must be helpful by nature and into problem solving. Responsibilities include all aspects of retail including but not limited to stocking shelves, inventory management, customer service, reconciling nuts and bolts, cashiering, merchandizing, promotion, and some heavy-lifting at times. We are also in the midst of a store remodel, so applicable skills and willingness to help during that phase are a plus. This will be a highly collaborative position working directly with the owners, but requires the ability to work independently as well. Purpose The ReStore Inventory & Promotions Coordinator will strengthen ReStore operations by helping establish a consistent inventory management system, improving donation processes, and enhancing promotions through social media and community outreach. Volunteer & Donor Support – 20% • Help train and guide volunteers in donation intake and inventory processes. • Assist with donor interactions to ensure a positive intake process. • Provide customer service support on the sales floor.
