An Afternoon Delivery Staff At A Dry Cleaner (Midtown)

Old timey hardware store in rural farming community seeking DIY-er type individual, ideally with prior hardware or construction experience, to serve our local customer base. Located about 1 hr from Wenatchee and 25 min from Chelan. Looking for someone energetic about bringing forth creative ideas and experience to help increase sales, customer satisfaction, and store success. Must be helpful by nature and into problem solving. Responsibilities include all aspects of retail including but not limited to stocking shelves, inventory management, customer service, reconciling nuts and bolts, cashiering, merchandizing, promotion, and some heavy-lifting at times. We are also in the midst of a store remodel, so applicable skills and willingness to help during that phase are a plus. This will be a highly collaborative position working directly with the owners, but requires the ability to work independently as well. This role is essential to maintaining efficient workflow and ensuring accurate order fulfillment within the warehouse environment. General Job Functions • Assists in receiving stock items (wine) for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct. • Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area. • Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses. • Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing warehousing operations. • Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements. • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adhering to safety practices, operating equipment used in warehouse operations, operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications and preparing and maintaining accurate records. KNOWLEDGE is required to perform basic math, understand written procedures, write routine documents, speak clearly and understand multi-step written and oral instructions. Specific knowledge-based competencies required to perform the functions of the job include: basic computer use, basic vehicle maintenance, and safety practices and procedures. ABILITY is required to schedule activities, collect data and use basic, job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others, work with defined processes and operate equipment using standardized methods. Some problem solving may be required to identify issues and select action plans. Problem solving with data may require independent interpretation and problem solving with equipment is limited to moderate. Specific ability-based competencies required include: meeting deadlines and schedules, setting priorities, working in inclement weather and physical stamina. PHG needs reps to INSTALL  2 Cleaning Solution Dispensers in the Planet Fitness stores in MA/VT/NH during the Week of 8/18 - or some possibly week of 8/25.  Monday Through Friday 9am to 5 pm. Pay is $25 per hour onsite and mileage can be discussed at scheduling based on distance. Takes approx. 1.5 hours per location.  Store schedule will need to be provided to client once scheduled. Tools required: Cordless Drill with all bit types including concrete and basic hand tools Reporting Required to be completed in client app with photos. And hours also reported online at PHG site for pay processing. Full instruction for install and reporting will be provided. There are multiple locations in MA/NH/VT - full list can be provided at scheduling to best fit your geographic location for possible additional stores.
