New Gallery in Downtown Tacoma Seeking Artists (Tacoma)

About the Shop: Hello, my name is Garrett and I operate an art gallery inside of Sanford and Son Antiques in downtown Tacoma's Antique Row. If you haven't been inside, it's a unique type of anti-mall with about 25 small retail businesses inside of a three-story building. This location primarily sees shoppers who appreciate antiques and vintage, so I think emphasis on history, repurposing, or something with a different point of view from that would certainly stand out. I get good foot traffic from locals and tourists equally and have no competition from other art galleries in the area. Search: Stop n Shop Tacoma About You: I am seeking artists in any medium who want to display their artwork for sale on a commission structure. This opportunity is open to artists of all ages at all levels of experience. The ideal candidate will have 5+ pieces of art mounted and ready to hang or display with a price range in mind. I will help you print a label for each piece with the name, medium, etc, and an artist bio for the wall. Terms: My commission fee is 10%-15% depending on the final sale price. I will be responsible for collecting the payment on your behalf and reimbursing you. This is a 2 month contract and the artist will be responsible for setting up and taking down their work. I am looking to get artists in there ASAP so please respond if you think you will be a good fit.
