Guitarist / Songwriter / Composer (Newcastle)

Yep, another middle-aged rock guitar player / songwriter here. I've been playing off and on for longer than care to admit and am trying to get back into it. The last few years I'd been mostly messing around with instrumental improvisation, but I've recently gotten back into writing original rock songs. Life is probably too busy to do the band thing at this point, and I'm not sure whether I'd really want to go back to playing the bar scene anyway, but I figure it would be cool to find some like-minded musician and songwriter types. I've included a links to Spotify and YouTube that should give you an idea of how I write and sound (though the material spans a pretty wide range, and I've even written some pop and country stuff that isn't on either playlist). The full-song compositions were completed in my home studio with the assistance of technology (ToonTrack's EZ Drummer3 and EZ Keys2, PG Music's Band in a Box, and various AI for vocals and some other parts - it was either that or post nothing but guitar solos).
