Folksingers! (Maple Valley)

The world NEEDS more folksingers. Remember when it was cool to find yourself a cheap guitar, learn a few chords, and then sing your heart out in front of embarrassed onlookers? It's cool again. Do you remember sitting around the campfire singing the songs of love, peace and protest? Remember when the answers were "blowing in the wind" and all you needed was love? Did you wonder where all the flowers had gone? Music used to have meaning. It inspired us. It used to bring us together. It's time to change the world again by playing folk music (and other fun tunes) like we did in the old days. Timeless melodies and meaningful lyrics on guitars and ukuleles and banjos and bongos and autoharps and tambourines. C'mon people now, smile on your brother... Hopefully you live somewhere near the Maple Valley area and can't wait to get started. No absolute agenda, just fun. You don't need to be a great musician. You don't need to be a finalist on The Voice. Beginners more than welcome. I'm assuming you already own 'The Mighty Wind' on VHS.
