Drummer wanted for 5 piece heavy post-rock project (albany / el cerrito)

Seeking drummer for a new 5 piece heavy post-rock project! Currently we are a 2 guitar, 1 bass, 1 electric violin outfit, with two of us also handling vocals. Three of us (Isaac, Jessica, Forrest) have been writing music and playing together for the past 9+ years in the post-rock/doom metal band Daxma. Isaac and Forrest also write for and play in the post-metal band Mountaineer. Our bassist (Desiree) is our close friend/partner, and has been writing for and playing in the doom/heavy psych band Prima Materia and dark country project Esther Ann Gove. As a group, we can list many influential bands that we admire and look up to (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, YOB, Subrosa, etc) but the best way to get a sense of our sound/vibe is to check out Daxma (https://daxma.bandcamp.com/album/unmarked-boxes) and Prima Materia (https://primamateriaband.bandcamp.com/album/stone-by-stone). We have solid experience writing music, recording albums, playing live gigs, and also working with independent record labels to release our music on various digital and physical mediums (including vinyl). We currently rehearse out of a nice practice space in Albany/Richmond, CA. After a trial period and assuming everyone is on board, there will be space in our room for your drum kit!
