Affordable Shared Art Studios and Artist Resources (Belltown)

Common Area Maintenance (CAM) is an inclusive art studio looking for local artists to become new members. We provide shared studio / programs / event / gallery space as well as community resources in our two Belltown locations. $150–$450 / month (limited sliding scale or BIPOC scholarships also available) 2125 2nd Ave Seattle, WA 98121 and 2601 1st Ave Seattle, WA 98121 ABOUT CAM: Common Area Maintenance (CAM) is an indie, leftist, anti-capitalist space, built by artists, for artists—we prioritize access to tools and resources, facilitating creative play, and taking an intentional role in our community. MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES: - 24/7 studio access to two locations in Belltown - open format work tables + easels - printshop, woodshop, and storefront gallery - poetry, art book, and zine library - curatorial + teaching opportunities ARE YOU A GOOD FIT? We’re looking for community-oriented artists, writers, teachers, and performers who: - Have an active practice (this is an open-ended definition, but generally it means your art is something you have dedicated yourself and your time/resources to). - Are interested in and up for community engagement (this might mean helping out with some of the public programming we do, sharing skills with other members, curating shows in our gallery, tabling at fairs, etc.).
