The rent includes all of the basic utilities - heat, hot water, and electricity – you would pay phone, cable, internet etc. If you have a car, the building does have a parking lot and off street parking is available, but for one car only. Rent is based on occupancy by one person – if more than one person is to occupy the apartment, a higher rent will apply. This apartment is best suited for someone who does not have a car and needs to be within walking distance to public transportation and shopping, as the Quincy center T station is directly across the street from the building (it is just about a minute walk away) and a shopping plaza with a grocery store and Quincy center are both about a five-minute walk away. This is a good sized one-bedroom apartment – it is approximately 800 sq. ft and is on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. The balcony is on the South – East side of the building so it does get quite a bit of sun (especially in the morning). The kitchen area has a large amount of counter and cabinet space with a stainless steel dishwasher and refrigerator, and there is a black electric range. The linoleum from the kitchen stretches through to almost the bathroom to give a separate dining area that will fit a good size table centered under the colored lighting. There is carpet throughout the living areas of the apartment (in some pictures the carpet color may appear to be a light tan, but it is actually a darker mocha with white highlights). The living room measures 11’ 6’’ x 17’ 5’’, with a sliding glass door out to a private balcony, and a through the wall air conditioner. The bedroom measures 11’ 8’’ x 12’ 10’’ which will comfortably fit a king size set, and there is a walk in closet. There is a full bath (there is a tub with a shower, and a linen closet inside of the bathroom too). There are coin operated washers and dryers are downstairs, security locks on the building entrance doors, and an intercom system. We do not allow dogs, but some other pets (specifically, cats) are acceptable. If you would like more information on the apartment, please send us your email address (please be aware that if you just send through craigslist and do not enter your email address we DO NOT get your email address) along with your name and a phone number where you may be reached at directly during the day. As a landlord, we are not usually available to make phone calls after 3:30 PM or so because we are busy meeting with people that we have been able to speak with during the day after they get out of work (such things as showing apartments, taking applications, doing leases, etc.). Please note that we will not discuss the apartment with 3rd parties -- we will discuss the apartment only with the person who the apartment is for, and that we will not respond to any email questions without a phone number (it just is not time efficient to send back and forth when a quick conversation can resolve all issues/questions). Thank you.
