Collectible- CPP figurine (Visalia)

The CPP/Pinkerton Chaulkware Characters were made each year starting in 1972, as corporate gifts to be given out to the company's clients and staff. The original statues were of the "keystone Type Cop" and were for the California Plant Protection Company (which started and operated only in California). That company was later called CPP, after the company went national in business operations. The figures remained as Keystone Type Cops under CPP. In approximately 1988, CPP bought the old original Pinkerton Investigative Agency and the company name gradually changed from CPP/Pinkerton to just Pinkerton. After the purchase of Pinkerton, the "Sherlock Holmes Type Figure" was added to the Keystone Type Cop Figures and for some years two separate figurines were made and some years only one was made
