PLEASE READ LOCATED IN GLEN COVE LONG ISLAND We are looking for a caregiver to work from 9am- 5pm Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 9am-10pm. . I am paralyzed from a spinal cord injury. Duties include but are not limited to bed bath, dressing, hoyer lift, cleaning etc.more clarification if needed in person interview. You will b paid through CDPAP at 18.65$ an hour. As a DSP, you will assist clients with daily living activities, encourage independence, and help them lead fulfilling lives within their communities. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to individuals at our day program and community settings. Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ICP changes and toileting. Support individuals feeding. Promote independence through skill-building activities, including communication, transportation, and community integration. Document care provided, progress toward goals, and incidents according to agency policies and procedures. Implement individual service plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs). Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals served. Collaborate with families, guardians, case managers, and other professionals as needed. Attend required training and staff meetings. Work Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and flexible shifts available. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
