You in The Role and on The Team
In this role, you are a highly motivated Robotics Technician to join our team and contribute to the deployment, service, and monitoring for our robotic solutions. As a Robotics Technician, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our warehouse automation solutions delivery to customers, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure the successful operation of our robotic system. Â

A Day in the Life at Prime RoboticsÂ
Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to ensure optimal performanceÂ
Be the point person to solve warehouse automation problems with the customers as they ariseÂ
Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime to the customerÂ
Perform hardware troubleshooting, including electronics, motors, and cabling, ensuring optimal functionality of the robot fleet.Â
Work hands-on with electromechanical systems in a shop environment, contributing to the efficient operation of the robots.Â
Conduct robot inspections and perform preventative maintenanceÂ
Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of the robotic systems.Â
Document operational data and generate reports to track performanceÂ
Document all fixes to robots and maintain spare parts inventoryÂ
Provide support to team members and customers during project deployment and post-sales phasesÂ
Assist sales teams in providing on-site demos to potential customersÂ
Implement warehouse automation solutions on sight new customers and expansions with existing customersÂ
Flexibility in work hours to collaborate with colleagues in other time zonesÂ
Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and potential areas for improvementÂ
Familiarity with navigating Linux/Ubuntu systems is a plusÂ
Demonstrate soldering expertise when necessary, maintaining and repairing electronic components.Â
Exhibit a quick learning ability and an exceptional work ethic, adapting swiftly to evolving challenges.Â
Must have first-rate attention to detail and be meticulous in all tasks.Â

Familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems gained through work experience or educational background. Software experience also a plus.Â

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teamsÂ
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Â

Must be able to work on your feet most of the day and lift at least 50 lbs.Â
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (~10% travel)Â

PLC programming/controls engineering and programming of automated systemsÂ
Linux skillsÂ
Prior experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) software is a valuable asset.Â
Experience maintaining lithium batteriesÂ
Knowledge of basic networkingÂ
Familiarity with databases and proficiency in writing mySQL queries Â
