We are searching for a qualified and creative pastry chef who loves to bake the very best guilty pleasures for our clients to consume. Urgently looking to fill this position with a creative and passionate experienced individual who will pay attention to detail. An individual who will take personal pride in their work and the capability to suggest new ideas for customizing a clients requests. A talented pastry chef with the ability to raise the caliber and presentation of any and all desserts. Must work well with our current pastry chef and other staff members. Must be able to complete tasks even under pressure in a very busy catering kitchen. Must carry a sense of urgency in order to meet different orders and schedules for clients. Must maintain a clean and organized work station. Punctuality is always important and a must in order to prepare, produce and send out the freshest breads and desserts. Must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and always be respectful to the other coworkers in the kitchen. Operating hours are early mornings to midday shift. Approximately 25 to 35 hours per week. Duties and tasks include: Helping to create and construct desserts, including a variety of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cornbreads, sheet cakes, puddings, biscuits. As well as themed styled desserts for holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving. We are looking to hire for the position ASAP. $22.00 to $24.00 per hour to start D.O.E.
