Develop Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates to support planning for construction projects, A/E studies, and maintenance work. Conduct market research (labor, materials, equipment) and integrate findings into unit prices, assemblies, and escalation. Establish scope for bidding and estimating; draft clarifications and RFIs to ensure comprehensive subcontractor/vendor coverage. Produce accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing from drawings and specifications. Track planned vs. actual cost and time performance; identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with schedulers to assess Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) and Change Orders (COs) within Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Communicate estimate methodology, risks, and deltas through clear written reports and stakeholder presentations.
