Applies a variety of engineering techniques and proven design concepts to support the execution of the New Product Process (NPP). Working independently plans and leads the design and testing of new and existing technologies for new products and current product enhancements using originality and ingenuity. Provides technical support on highly complex assignments during the design cycle of the NPP. Description The Observational Systems Engineer will play a key role in supporting the mission of the Ocean Sciences Branch, which conducts extensive field experiments and provides critical technical support.
