Seasonal Tax Preparer/Reviewer for an Established CPA Firm—Bellevue or Duvall Office/ Hybrid Please note specific instructions for submission at the end of this post. What you’ll do at The Akopyan Group In the Senior Tax Preparer role, you will be responsible for the timely completion and filing of a variety of tax forms, but you’ll also consult with clients and provide expert guidance. During a typical week, duties include (but are not limited to) the following: • Preparing tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals • Review tax returns prepared by other team members • Estimating income taxes • Researching tax laws and changes • Consulting with clients and helping them plan • Providing clear and consistent client communications What you need to apply • 10-15+ years of professional tax experience (required) • CPA or EA License (Required) • Strong knowledge of tax code and regulations What you need to succeed in this role • A friendly, positive attitude (people often need reassurance at tax time) • Strong problem-solving ability • Excellent computer skills • The ability to stay organized and meet deadlines • Good listening skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly • Exceptional communication skills What you’ll be eligible for as our new team member • Compensation commensurate with experience • Potential commission/incentive pay • 401(k) with company match • Health/dental/vision insurance • Paid time off • Flexible scheduling, including ability to work from home at times Instructions for submission Please submit a resume, references, and a cover letter or a short 1-minute video telling us about how you can help us support our small-business clients.
