Position Type: Full-time, Hourly Location: In Office; Auburn, WA Wage Scale: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Responsibilities: -Performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports for several locations. -Reviews coding, transactions, and journal entries. -Reconciles accounts. -Maintains the integrity of accounting records by ensuring that staff complies with organization accounting policies and procedures. -Assists with audits, coding and preparation of financial statements and operational reporting. -Assists with cost-reduction studies. -Gather data and assists with analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to predict future revenue and expenses. -Assist with accounts payable and receivable as needed. -Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. -Other duties as assigned. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college in Business Administration Accounting, Finance or related field. -2 years accounting experience preferably in construction, contracting or building materials environment (or equivalent combination in education and experience). -Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents such as financial statements, technical journals, and legal documents. -Ability to negotiate with internal and external sources. -Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
