Founded in 2002, M&N Plumbing Supply Company is a family-owned and operated wholesale supply company that sells plumbing related materials to the construction industry. We are searching for a capable, hard-working team member to fill a Counter Sales position at our Denver location.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Assisting customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at our Denver location.
* Process Sales Orders generated at the counter.
* Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications and pricing.
* Assisting team members in servicing customers, answering phone calls, stocking merchandise, and pulling orders for delivery.
* Process returns.
* Maintaining cleanliness of counter area and ensuring merchandise displays remain stocked, current, and neat.
* Will receive training and support, especially during the initial months while you get up to speed.
* Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments within the company and our products and services.
As a Counter Salesperson, you must be friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Excellent verbal communication is essential. Salespeople must approach customer interactions in an honest and ethical fashion.
The compensation for this position starts between $22 - $30 per hour depending on experience. We pay 95% of the employees’, 50% of the dependents monthly medical premium, in addition to 95% of the employee plus dependents monthly dental premium, 6 Paid Holidays, and provide a matching 401k contribution up to 4%. There are also opportunities for bonuses.
Qualifications:
* High school degree or equivalent.
* 2 years Plumbing industry experience.
* Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions, and close the sale.
* The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
* The ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.

* Have wholesale distribution experience.
* Know basic computer processes (use of Microsoft Word and Excel).
