Flint Hydraulics is looking for a candidate who wants to take the next step in their technical career to join our 100% employee owned company. Flint Hydraulics is a fluid power distributor, dedicated to creating value for customers by providing original and replacement hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, and hydraulic pump replacement parts for heavy mobile and industrial equipment. We are hiring a Warehouse Technician for our facility based in Memphis, TN. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for order processing, inventory management, and safety compliance. Our new Warehouse Technician will be responsible for: Picking, packing, and shipping orders. Receive stock orders. Coordinate efforts with warehouse management to dispose properly of scrapped parts & maintain documentation. Participate in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as directed basis. Assist in determining causes of short or over-item situations. Operate within all parts policies and procedures of Flint Hydraulics. Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines. Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program, to conform to ISO 9001 requirements. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education High school diploma or GED. Experience in lieu of education will be accepted. Experience Two to five (2-5) years of warehousing and distribution experience. Knowledge and Skills Excellent communication skills. Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work. Solid equipment and parts knowledge. Warehousing training in a distribution, manufacturing, or dealership environment. Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures. Physical Requirements Able to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Able to stand, walk, sit, and bend, 8-10 hours per day. Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Able to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus. Able to pass a drug test. Exposure to production environment.
