The GOVX Warehouse Inbound Lead responsibilities will typically include maintaining daily inventory logs, organizing, inspecting inventory, and verifying orders, though assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of the company. Warehouse Leads certified to operate forklifts may also be responsible for moving shipments throughout the warehouse via a forklift. Others may assist with the heavy lifting of boxes and inventory weighing up to 50 pounds. Routine cleaning duties will also be assigned.  Position Type & Expected Hours of Work  This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch.  Occasional Saturday and weekday overtime may be required depending on work volume.  Responsibilities Processing incoming deliveries as determined by the category they are in.  Develop and manage a team for processing the GOVX deliveries.   Help develop and implement processing and procedures.  Ensure GOVX Principles. Fulfilling product order invoices. Inspecting products for defects and damage.  Picking inventory for package assembly  Receiving of inbound product and returns  Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and addressing them appropriately.  Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.  Managing all merchandise with appropriate care  Ensure Warehouse is neat and organized.  And other duties as assigned by warehouse manager.   Communicate often with other stake holders with issues that arise.  Working Conditions This job operates in a professional environment subject to state and local health ordinances. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as computers, scanners, pallet jacks, and U-boats. Summary The SMWA assists in carrying out the maintenance, merchandising, and warehouse functions of multi-stores and as well as assists in providing an amazing guest experience. Essential Functions Be relentless about amazing our guests by maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior showroom, warehouse areas, parking lot, restrooms, common areas, floors, windows, etc. Dusting, vacuuming, general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks. Receive and process products from trucks and ensure all products are handled with the utmost care. Assembles furniture utilizing work instructions and various tools while adhering to quality and safety control guidelines. Inspect furniture in the store, assess damage and repair, restore, and provide finishing services. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety. Optimizes space utilization by maintaining an organized and clean warehouse. Perform facilities maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing repairs and carpentry updates and repairs. Paint showroom walls for front entry presentations, store upgrades, and general upkeeping. Be radical about our Team Members by working with the Visual Team to ensure all areas of the showroom are functioning and in presentable appearance. Collections and accessories displayed as directed in the Visual Merchandising Manual. Maintain showroom track lighting to assist in product placement. Participates and executes product placement and preparation for floor moves and any store sales events. Create a unique, personalized, memorable, and repeatable guest experience for our furniture pick-up process by verifying details for accuracy and executing a seamless experience. Follow our standard operating procedures by utilizing work instructions and promote peer-to-peer accountability by ensuring team members are properly and consistently providing an amazing guest experience. Be radical about our team members to make guest experience decisions that also support the mission statement & core values of the company by resolving all pending situations with collaborative and effective communication. Be passionate about our communities by working with the management team to maximize all special events such as VIP and Grand Openings. Schedule Expectations The SMWA is expected to work 40 hours per week.  During peak times, they may be asked to work overtime hours to support the store. Schedule subject to change according to business needs. The SMWA will be required to travel to assist with regional stores and the opening of new stores. Requirements Education & Experience Preferred H.S. Diploma or GED Prior Warehouse experience preferred Minimum 1 year of maintenance and warehouse experience in receiving and assembling. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
