Job Overview:  As a Busser at our restaurant, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You'll support our servers and kitchen teams to ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently, all while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. DBS is searching for a Banquet Server / Server Assistant to assist in catering events by setting up tables, serving meals, and ensuring a clean and tidy environment. The Banquet Server / Server Assistant position is a perfect role for someone who is looking to start a career in the hospitality industry. As a Banquet Server / Server Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team and will ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Pick you own shifts and schedule. There is no minimum of hours needed to work. So, if you can work only 1 or 2 shifts a week due to another job or family obligations, that is totally fine! This position is perfect for a part-time or full-time person. Ensure all food items are fresh, properly portioned, and meet café quality standards. 3. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Keep the dining area, kitchen, and prep areas clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift. Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handwashing, food handling, and cleaning procedures. 4. Cash Handling and Register: Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately. Provide change, issue receipts, and assist with any other payment-related tasks. Maintain a balanced cash drawer by following cash handling procedures. 5. Inventory and Stocking: Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring food supplies are stocked and readily available. Notify management when stock is running low or when supplies need to be reordered. Help with receiving and organizing deliveries, checking quality, and ensuring proper storage of products. 6. Teamwork and Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow during shifts. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up or closing the café, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. 7. Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, food handling, and customer service standards. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and contribute to a positive work environment. Participate in training sessions and contribute to ongoing learning about café operations. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in customer service, food service, or a similar role is a plus but not required. Skills: Strong customer service skills, with a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
