This is a full-time Box Truck driving position. Job Details: 1. Driving 26 and 24 feet box truck 2. Every day take 10/11 pallets and deliver them to Supermarkets and Grocery stores. 3. Delivery areas are Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island, Staten Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia etc. 4. When Delivering in New Jersey and New York drivers will start work in the morning around 7/8 am. 5. Mostly deliverying palletized products. sometimes need to break pallets and delivery to inside of the store using hand truck. 6. When going to Out of state Drivers have to start before 5 am. 7. Delivering to the right customer and take signs, check, or cash according to the invoice. 8. After delivery return back to the warehouse and give invoice, keys to the office. Then Doing local transfers from warehouse to warehouse when needed. 9. Using an electric pallet jack for delivering pallets and using hand truck/trolley for boxes delivery. Performs various daily activities relating to the farrowing and/or breeding of and health/welfare of swine. Performs duties including, but not limited to, monitoring house/room environment, care and feeding of animals, farm sanitation, animal health and well-being, safety and housekeeping, animal movement, animal science and husbandry, and animal tracking data and all associated paperwork. Other duties may be assigned. Assists in all operations and care/feeding of the animals. Ensures the welfare/well being of the animals. Insures proper feed and supplies are on hand and follows standards for feeding and watering animals. Identifies problem areas and corrects them immediately or reports them to their supervisor. Ensures that all standards and procedures are known, understood and adhered to, as trained; including all safety procedures. Develops and/or maintains proper record keeping tools for the animals. Completes regular reports in a timely manner and any variances are corrected. Maintains all equipment and the correct environment in all barns at all times. All inconsistencies are identified and immediately rectified or reported to their supervisor. Promotes teamwork and is an active participant of the farm’s team. Responsible for being in compliance with all environmental laws and procedures to which Prestage Farms of Oklahoma, LLC subscribes. Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor. Reads and understands the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site. Performs other duties as defined by manager. SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary ADA REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, perform repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
