Ensure all AWARDS data and supporting documents are printed and filed appropriately in the client chart and all documentation remains current at all times. Conduct orientation with client families and review with the family the facility rules, clients’ rights and responsibilities, the grievance/complaint process, and emergency disaster procedures, etc. Conduct home visits with all client families including home visits in the evening as needed. We're a small wine shop with focus on natural wine but we also have a unique collection of fine and rare bottles. We are known for our helpful staff, careful curation, and a popular wine club. We are looking for someone to work Saturdays 12-8 and at least one weekday, but there is potential for more shifts and responsibilities. We are lucky to have a very engaged customer base of neighborhood regulars as well as wine lovers from all over the city and the US. Hospitality, customer service, and a soft touch are, in many ways, more important than the wine that is on our shelves. Previous wine experience is a must, but you don't need to have a sommelier certification, just a good foundation and an eagerness to keep learning. This is probably not the best fit if you've never worked retail or worked with small production natural wines before, but we make sure there are lots of opportunities to taste, talk about wine, and get to know the business up close. We are a small hands-on team that is very collaborative, so the ability to work closely with others — and communicate effectively — is maybe the most important quality we are looking for. And being excited about wine, of course! Night and weekend availability is required (we close at 8pm every day) and candidates must be able to lift 40-pound cases up and down a flight of stairs.
