Requirements JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Create and steward big brand strategies, clearly defining them and building them over multiple initiatives Own the strategic vision and creative output for assigned business Deeply understand the client business and what makes it tick Champion the brand purpose and ensure that it lives across all key touch-points and communications Identify additional opportunities for the growth of clients’ business and projects, both in the world and within the agency Forge relationships with internal members of leadership, across disciplines and departments (ie. Design, Client Services), constantly working with them to understand what’s working, what’s not, and what can be improved Be the strategic voice and oversee the strategic efficacy of the work in creative reviews Develop the skills of and mentor junior team members QUALIFICATIONS 2 to 5+ years of experience in a strategy role in an agency setting or brand strategy experience leading pieces of business and pitches in adjacent industry experience Proven expertise in brand positioning, insight generation, and track record of delivering creatively inspiring, business-driving briefs Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively through examples of exceptional creative output who can serve as both a strong leader as well as a willing doer Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with a healthy obsession with consumer trends to drive creative ideation Deep understanding of the roles of brands, communications and communication channels within business plans, particularly CPG and hospitality brands Experience isolating the real business problems of a client business that a brand and communications strategy can affect Expertise leading new business opportunities, workshops and facilitating brainstorming sessions  Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent training and/or experience Thrives on direct, honest and supportive communication Benefits Tavern offers 24 days PTO per year, paid holidays, paid sick leave, 401k matching, medical/dental and access to other benefits like HealthAdvocate, One Medical, Teladoc, TalkSpace, Kindbody.
