Looking for a chill person to move into the open room in my 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment conveniently located at the border of Hyde Park and North Loop. The room is available August 1. It’s about 11’x11’ with lots of closet space. Rent is $850 plus utilities and internet, and it’s a one year lease (until July 31, 2026). Washer/dryer, AC/heating and dishwasher all in unit, with parking right outside. The area is extremely safe, quiet and bike-friendly. It’s walking distance from plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and bus stops. You’d be sharing the place with me. I’m a recent UT graduate (media studies MA) who pays the bills as a bartender and freelance writer/copy editor. I spend most of my time out and about, but when I’m home I usually watch movies and read.
