Responsible for detailed account of production labor hours captured. Prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee the production of maintenance employees. Use tools such as hand held power and non-power tools, torches, welders and hoist. Perform tasks such as paint, weld, minor plumbing, HVAC and yard landscaping. Install or replace machinery, equipment, parts and instruments using hand and power tools. Transfer tools and equipment to and from various work locations. May be involved with new construction or modification of existing facilities and makes recommendations for maintenance (or outside contractors) to perform such work based on complexity, knowledge and cost. Maintains a safe working environment (by practicing safe measures, investing in conversations about safe practices and reviewing safe job procedures).
