The Bradley Center is excited to announce that our Outpatient Program is growing.  We provide therapy as well as psychiatric and med management services to children, adults, and families.  School-Based Mental Health Services are provided to students in several school districts in Allegheny and surrounding counties. We are looking for confident professionals to provide help to students in need of social emotional skills related to mental health needs.  The location of services will take place in the identified school district. This position works closely with school district personnel including teachers, school counselors and special education coordinators. Qualifications best suited for the position: Strong interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy Ability to build rapport quickly Effective listening, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic Detail oriented with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks Initiative  Primary Responsibilities: Implements social emotional learning in an individual and/or group setting Organizes and facilitates therapeutic support based on topics that meet the needs of students as expressed by SAP team Participates in student IEP, GIEP, and/or SAP meetings Attends and participates in Outpatient Services clinical and team meetings Creates a safe space for students to manage and regulate their feelings and behaviors Provides crisis support during school hours Facilitates the development and implementation of a wellness, crisis and/or relapse prevention plan Collaborates with school personnel related to student behaviorvior Requirements Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other Human Services related field with a clinical focus required Master’s degree preferred, in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum Valid Counseling Certification, preferred but not required - inclusive of NCC or LSW   Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain such license, with proof of auto insurance coverage Benefits Student loan repayment program $1500 sign on bonus $2000 relocation assistance Referral bonuses 4 weeks of Paid Time Off in the first year of employment Medical, dental and vision Coverage 401(k) Life insurance Opportunity for licensure supervision Advanced training opportunities and continuing education credits We are committed to advocacy for children with special needs, care and compassion, and focusing on the inherent strengths of children, youth and families without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or gender. Issues forms to patients to complete, gives clear instructions, and offers assistance. Reviews all forms for completion and signatures.  Checks in patients, verify and update necessary information in the medical record, obtains copies of ID and insurance card(s); takes patients’ photo. Screens visitors and responds to routine requests for information Maintains work area and lobby in neat and orderly manner. Including restocking patient pamphlets in lobby racks.
