Typical duties of an Project Engineer includes managing day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, contract administration, procurement, estimating, pay requests, change orders, requests for information, cost control, scheduling, tracking submittals, maintaining and delivering a high level of quality. Architecture firm in need of an experienced Constructability Reviewer. Responsibilities will include: * Review construction documents (Plans and Specifications) to identify potential constructability issues prior to the documents being completed and issued for bidding. * Identify information missing from the construction documents that would typically become a Request for Information (RFI) during the construction phase. * Identify conflicts or gaps in the construction documents that can lead to a trade missing scope or requiring re-design during the construction phase. * Detailed coordination of Landscape, Civil, Architectural, Structural, M-E-P disciplines. * General quality control review of construction documents. * This work can be done remotely using BlueBeam. * Pay will be hourly at a negotiated rate. * Please send cover letter, resume and proposed hourly rate to request an interview. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field or equivalent work experience. • 0-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience. Machine Shop experience a major plus • Practical knowledge of basic statistics. Familiarity with Minitab or similar analysis package is a plus • Experience with CMM or vision-based inspection system a major plus. • Experience with SolidWorks a major plus. • Experience in an ISO 9000 / ISO 13485 manufacturing environment a major plus. • Ability to read and understand mechanical technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Experience communicating professionally with internal and external parties.
