Job Description Swing Shift - 4pm Start time Monday - Friday $20-25/hr Audio and Media Operator I will be responsible for jobs related to audio and media post-production services. Primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering media content. Candidate must have a strong understanding, efficiency, and skillset in Avid Pro Tools, with some experience in operating non-linear video editors. Knowledge of traditional audio formats (2.0, 5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos), sample rate conversion, loudness compliance standards, and post-production audio workflows is expected. Some knowledge of video types, SMPTE timecode, frame rates, and codecs is preferred. Attention to detail, excellent time management and a perfectionist mindset are paramount in this role. Prequalify and manage a high volume of multi-channel audio assets in various formats and configurations Perform technical quality control checks and create final deliverable packages for audio assets Update internal audio job trackers and other proprietary asset management systems Prepare Pro Tools sessions for internal recording, mix, editorial, and QC processes Generate and review QC and dubbing verification reports and to ensure highest possible quality standards for final audio mixes Editorial and conform of standard configuration audio assets Perform linear technical audio QCs for catastrophic playback errors Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade specific education 2+ years in audio post-production or media service projects for film and tv Excellent Pro Tools operational skills, including the use of video in Pro Tools Basic Non-linear video workstation editor skills Excel and other MS Office application software Excellent communication skills over phone and email Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-direction Problem solver with creative and innovative approach and ability to think out of the box Outstanding attention to detail Preferred Strong skills with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with other media applications such as Adobe Suite and Final Cut Pro Physical Requirements Ability to continuously sit in an office chair Ability to operate and work in front of a computer in an audio room setting

Finish Carpenter/Installer for Set Builds/Retail/Custom Fabrication (vallejo / benicia)

Established set building/custom fabrication firm seeking full time builder/carpenter/installers with cabinet making experience for set building projects, trade show booths, retail build-outs/activations and events. We are seeking experienced, motivated, and team-oriented individuals. Prior experience with set building or production fabrication is highly desired. Cabinet making skills and expert carpentry skills are mandatory. Drop Works has been a leader in set/scenic fabrication in the Bay Area for over 25 years. We design, source and fabricate scenic architecture for commercial photo shoots and product testing, both on location, in our on-site rental photo studio. We also design and fabricate permanent retail displays and buildouts, retail activations and custom event installations. We operate a large fabrication shop and commercial photo studio, located in Vallejo, CA. Self-transport is required as employees sometimes are assigned to begin work at offsite locations around the Bay Area. Early mornings, possible travel, evenings, weekends, and overtime are all parts of the role. We are hiring for builders for immediate full-time employment (40 hours per week plus overtime as needed). Responsibilities include carpentry based fabrication scenic architecture and permanent retail fixtures, logistics, transport and installation of sets and scenic architectural elements, custom fabrication projects for commercial customers and private events. A significant amount of tasks are completed in small teams, and being able to work well with other people under tight deadlines is a must. Candidates with strong communication skills, a positive demeanor and a flexible approach to the work tend to be a great fit for our company. Strong mathematical ability also required to ensure accuracy and consistency when reading plans, measuring, fabricating and installing. • We require you to maintain consistent attendance with a strong focus on arriving to work at the assigned location, on-time, daily. Workflow and project efficiency is significantly improved when attendance is maintained. • Professional communication, attire, and overall demeanor with clients and colleagues. • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills. • Team-oriented, curious, and self-starting approaches to all aspects of the role are a must.
