As the position with the highest member contact, the Member Service Representative I (Teller) takes individual responsibility for providing excellent member service. Responsibilities: Complete daily activities such as: cashing checks and paying out money after verifying that signatures & dates are correct; receiving checks and cash for deposit; receiving visa and loan payments, verifying payment dates and amounts due. Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers. Carry out special services for members, such as ordering bank cards and checks. Process transactions such as term deposits, retirement savings plan contributions, night deposits, and mail deposits. Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning members' accounts. Help members with basic questions and inquiries about their accounts using the member's account history.
