Our small company is looking to add one member to our long-standing group of technicians. We get to work in some of the nicest homes around Seattle and often travel for customers who have multiple homes. Experience with installing a media room of your own, configuring network equipment, terminating cables, and/or configuring smart home devices is a major plus. You will also need to demonstrate good craftsmanship with your hands using hand tools, drills, and saws as well as using precision measurement tools such as levels and a tape measure. What you’d be doing: -Working on residential projects during construction pulling wire, settings speakers, drilling holes and finishing installations while working under one of our lead technicians. -Installing TV’s, speakers, shades, etc in 2, 5, even 50 million dollar finished homes - NO room for mistakes, NO room for even a thought of theft - some jobs even require non-disclosure agreements to be signed before you are allowed on site. -After 2 years you can take your journeyman test and can lead two apprentices of your own -If you get good at installs, running projects, and configuring/programming some of our systems you can make very good money -If you have the ability to manage the installation of these projects as a field manager by coordinating parts, labor, schedule requirements there are opportunities to double your hourly rate based on an incentive structure. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and prioritize the workload of the Automotive technician team, assigning tasks and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely manner. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in Automotive vehicles and equipment. Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance and repair activities while minimizing waste and excess inventory. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Automotive engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Supervises maintenance operations and shop employees.  Plans and distributes the work.  Delegates responsibilities as appropriate and monitors performance.  While involved in reviewing personnel actions (e.g., hiring, promotions and discipline), all such actions are further reviewed and approved by higher management. Supervises bus fueling and vehicle cleaning. Assist with UST record keeping, and reporting requirements associated with fuel logs. Coordinate services for building and ground keeping with vendor and landlord. Other duties as required. Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent): Not applicable. Qualifications: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an Automotive technician, with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Automotive engines and related systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Computer skills, to include familiarity with MS Office suite.
